About the role

Daily operation and driving of a power unit (Class 8 tractors and lower) for chemical distribution, including transport of HAZMAT and non‑hazardous materials in both liquid and dry forms.

Responsibilities

• Perform outside deliveries to customers/vendors, in‑plant movements (spotting), and inter‑company branch transfers.
• Handle bulk deliveries of liquids and solids, including loading and offloading using pumps, air, etc., and manage the entire process (transport, transfer, delivery, securement, paperwork).
• Handle packaged deliveries in drums, IBCs, or other containers, palletized material (dry or liquid), and supersacks (dry), managing the full process from transport to securement and paperwork.
• Operate tractor, trailer, or applicable service vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Comply with all DOT, OSHA, and site‑specific rules and regulations (site and driver safety, packaging, labeling, marking, loading/unloading, placarding, pre‑inspection, daily logs, reporting repairs).
• Follow Brenntag operating procedures, work instructions, and safety policies while on customer/vendor sites.
• Hold certification to operate pallet jacks (electric or manual); obtain forklift certification if required by location.
• Operate dock locks, dock levelers, and other applicable equipment for delivery/pickup.
• Maintain assigned equipment (ELDs, virtual gate
