Safely transport PACE participants
Safely transport PACE participants to and from the center, homes, and appointments, keeping to schedule and adjusting as needed.
Operate and inspect vehicles
- Operate and inspect vehicles daily
- Use wheelchair lifts and safety equipment properly
- Follow all traffic laws
Aid participants
- Assist participants in and out of the vehicle with care, respect, and attention to safety
Communicate and support
- Communicate promptly about any issues or incidents
- Support the Transportation Supervisor with daily department needs
Minimum Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications/Registrations: Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Chauffeur preferred. BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Heart Saver AED preferred.
- Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
