About the role

Arxada is seeking an OTR Driver to support operations at our Valpo, IN, Conley GA, and Kamala, WA locations. The primary responsibility is to deliver all loads safely and on time, adhering to both company policies and DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• To deliver all local (straight truck-primary routes) and OTR (bulk truck- backup driver) loads in a safe and timely manner, including pre-planning trips based on weather, length of haul, and delivery times.
• Follow appropriate procedures for transporting hazard materials according to Arxada policy and DOT requirements.
• Ensure equipment maintenance and all safety equipment is up to date as required by Arxada and DOT.
• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions by utilizing computer equipment, GPS, or other navigational devices to minimize fuel consumption.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil, fuel, radiator fluid, and/or performing minor repairs as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience as an over the road driver.
• Hazmat and bulk endorsements, passport, and TWIC card.
• Able to pass DOT physical.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $25,000 - $40,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Hours of work vary based on location and route demands, but typically require flexibility and availability outside of standard business hours.
