Driver - As Needed

About the role

Friendship Village of Dublin is seeking as-needed drivers to assist with transporting their residents to various events.

Responsibilities

• Provide 5-star customer service to residents.
• Inspect vehicle weekly and/or prior to all extended trips to ensure safety and compliance with legal guidelines.
• Inspect interior of vehicle after trips to ensure personal belongings of passengers are not left behind.
• Keep vehicle in proper working condition by completing preventative maintenance services, checking and replenishing gas, oil, and fluids, replacing oil filters, spark plugs, changing tires, and washing and cleaning the exterior and interior of vehicles.
• Inform the plant director of any mechanical problems.

Qualifications

• A valid driver license with no more than 6 points.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience driving a commercial bus and experience with the elderly preferred.
• A willingness to drive in a safe and courteous manner.
• A preference for comprehensive knowledge of the Columbus Metro area.
