Driver and Set Crew

Essential Functions

• Loads modular home sections
• Delivers loads to job sites within a 5 state area
• Affords assistance in setting modules onto foundations
• Installs weather protective material on modules following the set
• Maintains a favorable working relationship with all employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment
• Performs other duties as assigned

Work Environment

• Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
• May require safety glasses and hearing protection

Physical Demands

• Lifts heavy objects up to 80 pounds
• Uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue
• Quickly moves arms and legs

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

• This is a full-time position
• Typical days are Monday through Friday
• Weekend or evening work may be required as job duties demand

Wage

$28.00 an hour

Travel

• Travel is required during the business day
• Out-of-area and overnight travel is to be expected

Experience

• Oversized load experience is preferred
• General carpentry experience preferred
• Proficient in using hand tools such as tape measure, utility knife, and hammer
• Strict attention to detail and order accuracy
• Ability to follow written and spoken instruction
• Ability to lift to 80 pounds comfortably and consistently

Education/Certifications

• Class A CDL License is required
