We are seeking an Agronomy Technician responsible for the safe and appropriate application of fertilization and Integrated Pest Management needs for our landscape maintenance properties.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying, diagnosing, and treating turf and ornamental issues as they arise
  • Applying fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and insecticides as needed to lawns, shrubs, and plant material in accordance with accepted industry practices, safety procedures, label instructions, and rules and requirements of various Federal, State, and local regulatory agencies
  • Preparing and mixing products according to label instructions and product specifications, and using in accordance with prescribed safety precautions and directions
  • Ensuring the safe and proper operation of tools, vehicles, and equipment; adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements
  • Maintaining cleanliness of vehicle and equipment
  • Maintaining accurate records of products used
  • Completing all required correspondence regarding work orders
  • Retention of customers through rapport, communication, and met expectations
  • Using hand tools, power tools, and/or equipment to perform IPM duties
  • Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
