About the role

CR&R Environmental Services is seeking experienced and safety-focused Class A Drivers to support their Stanton Operations team. This role involves transporting materials between CR&R facilities, landfills, and major port terminals using commercial Class A equipment in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial Class A trucks between facilities, landfills, and port terminals
• Navigate busy terminal systems including Long Beach and Los Angeles ports
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain DOT compliance
• Communicate with dispatch regarding deliveries, delays, and equipment concerns
• Maintain accurate logs and transportation documentation

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a safe driving record
• Port terminal or heavy commercial driving experience preferred
• Candidate must have current 10 years driving experience with a Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Candidate must have a current TWIC Card
• Experience navigating busy port terminal systems such as Long Beach, Los Angeles, Elizabeth etc.
• Safely and efficiently transporting cargo containers between seaports areas and distribution centers
• Experience with port pick up and drop offs
• High School diploma or GED
• Must have acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) based on hiring standards and company mental and physical requirements

Pay

The starting hourly rate for this position is $26.00 - $28.00 per hour.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with stable, ongoing work.
