About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable 7.5T Driver to join our team in Bradford. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our company, delivering plastic pipes and associated goods to customers in Bradford, Leeds, and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient and safe operation of the vehicle
- Complete on-time delivery of orders to JDP customers
- Comply with all vehicle and drivers' legislation
- Understand and adhere to driving hours rules and regulations
- Determine the most efficient route for daily delivery schedules
Requirements
- Class C1 licence (minimum requirement)
- Some Driver CPC training
- Digital driving licence (tacho card)
- Understanding of Health & Safety in a work environment
- Detailed understanding of driver procedures and driving hours rules
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Qualifications
Desirable: FLT (Forklift Truck) experience would be an advantage.
