About the role

Ayvaz Pizza (Franchisee of Pizza Hut) is hiring Delivery Drivers who will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the restaurant. The Delivery Driver assists with ensuring that each visit from a customer results in a friendly and personalized service with great food that is promptly delivered in a clean and inviting environment. We are looking for a self‑motivated, dynamic team player to join our team. The Delivery Driver position is responsible for providing exceptional guest service and support, while working closely with the Restaurant Managers and other Team Members to maintain operational standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean driving record; arrive and return safely in accordance with local, state and federal laws.
• Display a friendly demeanor: greet guests with a smile, receive orders, process payments, and respond appropriately to customer issues; communicate positively with customers, peers, and managers.
• Keep a keen sense of cleanliness: maintain health and safety standards in work areas (including the vehicle) and perform duties at multiple workstations.
• Ensure prompt and regular attendance on assigned shifts.
• Follow dress code: adhere to uniform and grooming standards and policies.
• Complete delegated cleaning assignments in a timely manner.
• Operate cash register or point‑of‑sale devices as needed and use value‑added suggestive‑selling techniques to generate additional sales opportunities.
• Learn team effectiveness skills and work with others to achieve team goals.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old to operate a motorized vehicle.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Possess all documents and permits required by state and federal law (keep an updated copy of your insurance policy with your name applied).
• Maintain a clean driving record.
• Agree to a background check; employment is conditional on satisfactory results.
