About the role

Join a very busy, established, and well-run practice. Work alongside 1 Internal Medicine Physician partner, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 4 Medical Assistants, an Office Manager, and additional support staff.

Responsibilities

• See 16-20 patients per day on average
• Opportunities for professional development and teaching
• Provide evidence-based and value-based care
• Medicare Advantage panel management is a large focus of practice, with some Fee for Service/Commercial patient care
• Lean Clinical Practice Model: Streamlines patient care, standardizing workflows, optimizing team roles, and using data-driven continuous improvement to reduce wait times, lower costs, and improve quality and patient outcomes
• NextGen EMR, I-scribe technology, and Dragon dictation available

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible with plans to certify (AB or AOA)
• Illinois licensed or eligible to obtain licensure in Illinois

Qualifications

Value-based, longitudinal care practice with Medicare Advantage panel management, providing high-quality, coordinated care to improve outcomes

Schedule

Initial Schedule: 4.5 days patient care with .5 days set aside for administrative work
Call: phone only, shared with Nurse Practitioners and another Esse Health clinic
1:4 weekends, call is triaged first
1:5 weeknights, low to no calls typically
