Drive Test Technician - South Region

About the role
As a Drive Test Technician, you will execute mobile and stationary RF testing to validate wireless network performance, supporting engineering teams by collecting field data to optimize coverage, capacity, and quality of service across 5G technologies. This position requires 100% travel within the South region (VA, NC, WV, LA, MS, AL, TX, FL, SC, GA, TN).
Responsibilities
- Operate drive test equipment (e.g., TEMS Pocket, X-CAL, QXDM) in vehicles or on foot to collect RF data across designated routes and clusters.
- Perform speed test data collection and upload, capturing logs for RSRP, SINR, PCI, throughput, and scanner data.
- Upload results to centralized servers for post-processing and validation, following test file naming conventions.
- Communicate with Circet and client points of contact to escalate issues as necessary.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications preferred.
- Familiarity with wireless technologies: LTE, VoLTE, CDMA, 5G, MIMO, Carrier Aggregation strongly preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in RF testing or field technician roles desired.
- Experience with drive testing software (TEMS, XCAL) and GPS software (Street Atlas, Streets & Trips).
- Good computer skills and attention to detail.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel 100% and work flexible hours, including overtime.
Pay
$20–$26 per hour based on geography, skills, and experience. May also be eligible for performance-based incentives.
