Responsibilities
- Unload product from freight
- Tag, fold, hang, and price merchandise for the sales floor or back stock
- Restock merchandise on the sales floor and bring product to the floor for display
- Assist customers and sales associates with retrieving and loading purchased product
- Maintain orderly appearance of personal work space and surrounding areas, including general cleaning and organization around the store and back stock
- Perform basic math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with 10’s and 100’s)
- Read and comprehend instructions, and write short correspondence
- Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Stay organized, multi-task, and manage all aspects of the Merchandising role
- Work independently and collaboratively with the team
- Exercise judgment, tact, and professionalism when working with all levels of the organization
- Demonstrate strong oral/written communication and presentation skills
- Show attention to detail and maintain a professional appearance and attitude
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and treat others with respect
- Follow SCHEELS’ policies and procedures
- Complete other tasks as assigned by leadership or Merchandiser Leads

Qualifications
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of a High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED), one to three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Schedule
Must be flexible to work assigned schedule between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday. Average hours per week is 41.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
- Heavy work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds constantly to move objects
Pay
Compensation for this position ranges from $18+/hour, depending on experience and skills.
