Drinking Water Production Technician (Tiered)

About the Role

This position is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the Water Production Facility, including treatment, pumping, and storage facilities. The role involves receiving training and progressively increasing responsibilities for monitoring and operating water treatment and supply processes. It also includes identifying and performing mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation repairs on various systems to maintain the water treatment plant and remote pump stations. The position requires completing required training and certifications in accordance with tier requirements.

There are two open positions to be filled. This role is affiliated with the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME).

Pay

Pay Grade: 15 or 17, dependent on tier placement: $29.79 – $37.67 hourly.

Schedule

Remote Tier 1: Zero (0) days remote per month.
