About the role
Responsible for operating drilling equipment to extract oil and gas from beneath the earth's surface. Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to work rotating shifts.
Responsibilities
- Operate drilling equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues to supervisors
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
- Work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 2 years of related experience in a similar role
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Proficient in using drilling equipment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to operate under pressure and in challenging conditions
