About the role

Summary Performs installation and assembly of components for towing equipment by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Verifies functionality of electrical, air, and hydraulic systems.
• Performs inspections before unit is sent for final inspection.
• Builds subassemblies, route hoses, and wires.
• Cuts, drills, and fabricates brackets according to order specifications.
• Connects electrical wiring and cables.
• Installs lighting fixtures, controls, wiring, switches, and junction boxes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have understanding of hydraulics and 12‑volt DC electrical systems.
• Must have basic hand tools (wrenches, ratchets, sockets, wiring tools, etc.).
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends.

Pay

Current Starting Pay: $22.46

Schedule

• Compressed Work Week (4 days on, 4 days off)
• Most jobs are on Day Shift
• Shift premium for second shift: $1.50/hr (where applicable)
• Overtime available; double time for Sundays
