Drainage Engineer

About the role

Our Tampa office is seeking a Drainage Engineer to join the team. This position focuses on highway drainage projects and requires a minimum of two years of professional experience. A sign-on bonus is available.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, design, and production of engineering drawings.
• Oversee the production of drawings and complete specific assignments in preparing and assembling specifications.
• Participate in engineering investigations and planning by collecting and analyzing data, performing routine calculations, and evaluating the feasibility of alternate solutions.
• Prepare assigned sections of reports under the close review of experienced professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Fundamentals of Engineering (EI) certification and/or ability to achieve PE license in Florida.
• 1–5 years of experience.
• Ability to perform basic engineering design using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD with supervision.
• Knowledge of codes and design and construction practices.
• Excellent communication skills.
• ICPR experience.
• Stormwise experience (a plus).
