Draftsperson

About the role

We are looking for a Draftsperson to support the day-to-day operations of the Architectural Implementation Team. The role focuses on producing accurate technical drawings, updating project documentation, and supporting inspection-based deliverables. This position works closely with architects and project leads to ensure drawings and documentation meet project standards and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, revise, and maintain architectural drawings using AutoCAD.
• Produce as-built drawings, markups, and documentation based on project requirements.
• Update drawing sets based on review comments and inspection findings.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining project documentation and drawing records.
• Coordinate with architects and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy and consistency.
• Identify and flag drawing discrepancies, missing information, or documentation issues.
• Support the preparation of technical deliverables and project reports.
• Contribute to improving drafting standards and documentation workflows.

Skills

• AutoCAD: Strong proficiency in creating, revising, and organizing architectural drawings.
• Google Workspace / Excel: Proficient in document management, data tracking, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in architecture, construction, or project support roles.
• Strong understanding of architectural drawings, detailing, and construction documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and drafting accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Able to interpret redlines, sketches, and technical markups.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, output-driven environment.
