Job Summary A growing commercial millwork operation in South Dallas is seeking a Draftsman/Engineer-Cabinet Vision to join its engineering team in a direct hire, on-site role. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-driven CAD and drafting professional who enjoys turning architectural plans into accurate shop drawings, CNC-ready outputs, and buildable solutions for high-quality commercial millwork projects. This role is ideal for someone who wants to do more than draft behind a screen. You will work closely with Project Managers, production teams, and the shop floor to ensure each drawing package supports efficient fabrication, smooth CNC workflows, and successful installation. The environment is collaborative, hands-on, and quality-focused, with supportive leadership and a team-oriented culture where engineering expertise has a direct impact on the finished product. Key Responsibilities Create detailed millwork drawings, shop drawings, and production-ready documentation from architectural plans and project specifications. Generate accurate data outputs for CNC manufacturing using Cabinet Vision. Identify design conflicts, dimensional issues, and production challenges early in the process. Develop practical, buildable solutions that support fabrication, assembly, and installation. Collaborate with Project Managers, engineers, and shop floor teams to incorporate feedback and improve project flow. Ensure drawings reflect proper materials, construction methods, hardware, joinery, and quality standards. Compensation And Benefits Direct hire opportunity.
