As a Drafter I, you will support our engineering and design staff by preparing drawings and documentation across multiple disciplines in a fast-paced consulting environment. Responsibilities
- Perform drafting in multiple disciplines including electrical, structural, civil, mechanical, and fire protection under the direction of engineering and design staff
- Produce drawings in accordance with established company drafting standards to ensure consistency and quality
- Assist Project Managers with design concepts, drawings, and project documentation in line with client and corporate requirements
- Work independently on assigned project tasks and support larger integrated project teams
- Certify the accuracy and completeness of deliverables within assigned areas of responsibility
- Print, collate, and organize drawing packages for internal and client use
- Maintain organized project files and documentation
- Support other departments, including marketing and administrative staff, as needed
- Perform field measurements and assist with site visits when required
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in a related field and/or a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in at least one CAD platform (AutoCAD, Revit, or Inventor required, Revit and/or Inventor strongly preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of an integrated project team
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel locally and occasionally out of state for field assignments
Qualifications
- Ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with client requirements
- Ability to comply with company drug screening policies, including pre-employment screening

Pay
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00 per hour. Specific compensation for the successful candidate will be determined based on their knowledge, skills, and experience.
Schedule
Hours may vary depending on project needs and may require occasional evening and weekend work.
