Responsibilities
- Develop engineering drawings using software AutoCAD 2018 and Creo 9.
- Assures that anticipated problems in manufacture, assembly, installation, and operation are resolved by the drawing produced.
- Exercises independent judgment in selecting and interpreting data based on a knowledge of the design intent.
- Although working primarily as a drafter, may occasionally interpret general designs prepared by others to complete minor details.
- Provides advice and guidance to other drafters or serves as coordinator and planner for large and complex drafting projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline and at least 5 years of drafting experience.
- Proficient with AutoCAD.
- Proficient with Solid Edge.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Desired AutoCAD related professional certifications.
- Familiarity with military standards and specifications.
- Experience supporting production and testing environments for containerized equipment.
- Background in mechanical or systems design.

Minimum Required Hourly Wage: $35.94

This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI’s government contract for the work location.
