Drafter
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
- Produce fabrication, assembly, and process drawings for standard equipment.
- Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and maintain drawing revisions.
- Collaborate with engineers, production personnel, and purchasing to ensure drawings are accurate and buildable.
- Aid with engineering changes and design improvements.
- Participate in prototype development and continuous improvement projects.
Essential Skills
- 1-2 years of experience with Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or Creo.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor (preferred) or similar software.
- Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and manufacturing practices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, process piping, sanitary piping, or industrial equipment is a plus.
- Ability to interpret engineering specifications and technical documents.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- MET degree is a big plus.
Work Environment
The work environment is onsite daily from 7-4 or 8-5. You will work closely with two engineers and have the opportunity to go on the plant floor to ask questions. The company offers a 'mom and pop shop' vibe that is very family-oriented. Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
