About the role

Dr. Anna Horbaczewska is a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics, as well as endocrinology of reproductive health. She focuses on infertility diagnosis and treatment, hormonal disorders in women at all stages of their life, such as menstrual irregularities, PCOS, and menopause. Her expertise also includes gynecological cancer screening and prevention, including colposcopy, care for pregnant patients, contraceptive counseling, and regenerative and plastic gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic and therapeutic work in infertility, including menstrual disorders, PCOS, and menopause
• Care for patients with gynecological diseases such as endometriosis
• Prevention and early detection of gynecological cancers, including colposcopy
• Specialized care for pregnant women

Requirements

Completed studies at the Faculty of Medicine Collegium Medicum University of Warsaw. Both specializations were obtained at the Department of Endocrinology Gynecology and Gynecology Hospital of the University of Cracow, where she currently serves as an associate professor. During her studies, she completed numerous international internships, including at the Medical University of Rochester in the United States, Karolinska Institutet in Sweden, and Medizinische Universitaet Wien in Austria. In 2021, she defended her doctoral thesis titled "Analysis of factors affecting implantation success in women with primary infertility of unknown etiology."

Qualifications

Presents clinical lectures to students of the Faculty of Medicine and the School of Medicine in English at Collegium Medicum University of Warsaw. She is a member of the board of the Polish Society of Esthetic and Reconstructive Gynecology and a trainer at Intima Edu Institute. Together with PTGEiR, she is involved in the development of regenerative and reconstructive gynecology in Poland. She regularly updates her qualifications through workshops and congresses. She is an author and co-author of numerous publications, both in medical and popular science literature.
