DPW Laborer (Full-time)

Essential Duties

• The collection of Town trash
• Roadside cleanup
• Mowing
• Operation of equipment
• Recordkeeping

Qualifications

• A valid Massachusetts driver’s license or the ability to obtain one prior to employment
• Sufficient manual dexterity and physical ability to lift and carry objects weighing thirty (30) pounds or less may be required
• Work may require outdoor labor in inclement weather

• New hires starting hourly rate: $33.50
• Employees with 12 years of service with the Town of Nantucket: $41.67
