About the role

Doyle Security Services (DSS) is a leading provider of customized security solutions and investigative services. The company seeks a professional, dependable, and experienced Security Shift Supervisor to oversee daily security operations on a college campus. The supervisor will lead security personnel, ensure a safe environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors, and maintain compliance with campus policies and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise security officers, lead officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at the client site.
• Ensure all post orders are followed, established rounds are completed, and adequate reports are filed.
• Notify proper authorities and the client in emergency situations.
• Train security officers and review post orders and assignment details with subordinates.
• Assist in the submission of payroll and personnel information to the company.
• Coordinate with campus officials and law enforcement as needed.
• Monitor officer performance, respond to incidents and emergencies, and prepare incident reports.
• Maintain a visible security presence and foster positive relationships with the campus community.
• Inspect posts according to schedule and meet with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Meet with client representatives to assure security requirements are met and provide quality customer service.
• Plan, assign, and direct work; coach, appraise, reward, and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems.
• May perform duties of a Security Officer in accordance with post orders and company policy.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of security supervisory experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5–7 years of U.S. work history may be required.
• Valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Physical ability to perform the tasks required by the position.

Pay

Up to USD $23.25 per hour.

Schedule

Saturday & Sunday, 1500 – 2300.
