Responsibilities
- Independently execute bench- and pilot-scale downstream experiments supporting client project development and tech transfer.
- Perform purification processes including normal flow filtration, tangential flow filtration, and downstream bioprocessing.
- Draft critical documentation including lab procedures, study protocols, summary reports, process flow diagrams, and tech transfer documentation.
- Analyze, interpret, and troubleshoot experimental results independently while documenting all observations.
- Support downstream development efforts using analytical assays.
Requirements
- BS degree with 4+ years of biotech industry experience.
- Hands-on experience operating bench- and pilot-scale downstream purification equipment.
- Working knowledge of normal flow filtration, tangential flow filtration, and purification processes.
- Knowledge of cGMPs, technology transfer, and process scale-up.
- Strong technical writing, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and work weekend/overtime as needed.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
