About the role

Mott MacDonald is seeking interns to join the DoW SkillBridge program. The program offers dynamic roles focused on supporting the successful delivery and management of major programs. Interns will gain hands-on experience while working alongside industry experts.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, prepare, and maintain engineering data (e.g., tests, drawings).
  • Aid in preparing design documents and supporting calculations.
  • Support engineering activities under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Produce accurate technical reports, documentation, calculations, and sketches.
  • Continuously develop technical and professional skills.
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Requirements

  • Eligible for the Department of War SkillBridge program.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, project management, or related fields.
  • Prior experience and knowledge in engineering, project management, construction or related fields is highly preferred.
  • Strong project management, leadership, and technical skills.
  • Excellent judgment, organizational ability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and manage complex issues.
  • Skilled in preparing and interpreting detailed reports and evaluating solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, project management, or related fields.
  • Or be in the process of pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the mentioned fields.
  • Strong project management, leadership, and technical skills.
  • Excellent judgment, organizational ability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and manage complex issues.
  • Skilled in preparing and interpreting detailed reports and evaluating solutions.
