About the role

Dotties, our hidden speakeasy, is a space where intimate conversation, elevated cocktails, and thoughtfully crafted small plates come together to create unforgettable nights. As a Server at Dotties, you will guide guests through a discreet, personalized, and immersive dining experience, bringing warmth, precision, and personality to every table.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional, story-driven experience that reflects the spirit of Dotties and Southalls seed-to-table philosophy
• Be highly knowledgeable about menu offerings, seasonal ingredients, and cocktail selections, communicating them with authenticity and enthusiasm
• Take guest orders accurately, including any allergies or special preferences, and enter them into the POS system
• Cook up with the kitchen and bar to ensure precise timing and presentation of food and beverages
• Anticipate guest needs, read each tables vibe, and tailor the experience accordingly whether guests seek quiet privacy or lively interaction
• Promptly respond to guest requests or concerns with professionalism and care
• Process cash and card transactions accurately; settle any voids or comps according to policy
• Assist with resetting tables, side work, and general cleanliness of the space
• Support other Food & Beverage outlets during high-volume periods or as needed

Requirements

• Prior hospitality or fine dining restaurant experience required; speakeasy or cocktail bar experience preferred
• Strong working knowledge of food, wine, and craft cocktails
• Excellent communication and guest service skills
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced, high-touch environment
• A collaborative spirit and positive attitude
• Passion for storytelling, hospitality, and seasonal cuisine
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• TABC Certification required (or must be completed upon hire)
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and a flexible schedule
• Must be comfortable working in a dimly lit, atmospheric space and navigating tight spaces discreetly

Qualifications
