Responsibilities
- Weld and fabricate converters for aerospace applications using manual GTAW (TIG welding).
- Ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met under the supervision of the Contact Supervisor.
- Work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
- Prioritize safety of self and coworkers.
- Be flexible to work overtime as needed for business-critical tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or technical (2 yr) degree.
- Ability to perform basic visual weld inspections.
- Read and translate prints, drawings, and interpret codes, procedures, and work instructions.
- Basic math skills to perform measurements.
- Experience meeting quality specs and standards per design specifications.
- Experience utilizing measurement tools (calipers, gauges, etc.).
Qualifications
- Required: Ability to perform basic visual weld inspections.

- Required: Basic math skills to perform measurements.
- Required: Experience meeting quality specs and standards per design specifications.
- Required: Experience utilizing measurement tools (calipers, gauges, etc.).
- Preferred: Experience with manual GTAW (TIG Welding) welding with stainless steel or 625 Inconel materials for 3+ years.
- Preferred: Experience with thin materials (0.063”-0.025%).
- Preferred: Previous weld certifications of AWS D17.1 standards.
- Preferred: Experience fitting up, welding joints, and utilizing fixtures to weld.
- Preferred: Experience in troubleshooting joint fit ups, welding issues, etc.

Schedule
This position requires a day shift schedule.
Pay
The starting pay range for this role is $25.00-$30.00/hr. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
