Dosimetrist

About the role

Trinity Health Oakland is seeking a full‑time radiation oncology dosimetrist to join a team of seven medical physicists and seven dosimetrists covering six facilities across Southeast Michigan, with primary coverage at the new Pontiac/Oakland, MI location. The role requires on‑site presence with flexibility for remote work and involves working with ARIA, Eclipse, Varian accelerators, an active CyberKnife and HDR program at the Ann Arbor campus, and a new Varian linear accelerator with real‑time tracking, 4D CT simulator, brachytherapy, and more at the Oakland facility. The position also supports the education of radiation therapy students.

Responsibilities

• Behave in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values of Trinity Health System.
• Perform typical medical dosimetrist duties in a multi‑center facility using linear accelerators and state‑of‑the‑art software, hardware, and planning techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with specific coursework in radiation therapy and dosimetry, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) preferred.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in a progressive radiation oncology facility preferred.

Skills

• Proficiency with ARIA, Eclipse, and Varian treatment planning systems.
