Door Technician Trainee
We are hiring a Door Technician Trainee for a direct hire opportunity in Portland, OR. Responsibilities
- Diagnose garage door service issues and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions.
- Provide professional in-home and on-site service for residential and commercial customers.
- Educate customers on available options, prepare estimates, and present service recommendations.
- Perform hands-on repair, maintenance, and installation-related work after completing training.
- Manage daily service calls independently while maintaining clear customer communication.
- Identify upsell opportunities and close service sales through consultative, customer-focused conversations.
Pay
Portland, OR training pay: $23.00 per hour for up to 8 weeks. After training: $18.75 per hour plus commission. Salary range during training: $38,000.00 to $48,000.00 per year. Average earning potential after training: $80,000 to $140,000 per year based on performance.
