Primary Responsibilities

  • Credits pre-donation medical screening.
  • Interacts and responds to customer needs.
  • Affirms donor suitability and sets up accordingly.
  • Provides appropriate feedback to ineligible donor candidates.
  • Safeguards all donor screening information.
  • Promotes donor confidentiality.
  • Requirements

    • Superior customer service standards.
    • A High School diploma or GED.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
    • An interest in making a difference in the world.
    • Obtains required state licensures or certifications where applicable.

    Qualifications

    • Passes occupational demands form #71.
    • Work environment includes exposure to biological fluids, electrical office and laboratory equipment, extreme cold, and personal protective equipment.
    • Requires frequent hand and foot movement, precise finger coordination, and light lifting.
    • Must have good hearing acuity and visual acuity.
    • Must be able to comprehend and follow instructions.
