Donor Center Technician
Primary Responsibilities
- Credits pre-donation medical screening.
- Interacts and responds to customer needs.
- Affirms donor suitability and sets up accordingly.
- Provides appropriate feedback to ineligible donor candidates.
- Safeguards all donor screening information completeness.
- Promotes donor confidentiality.
- Superior customer service standards.
- A High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- An interest in making a difference in the world.
- Obtains required state licensures or certifications where applicable.
- Passes occupational demands form #71.
- Work environment includes exposure to biological fluids, electrical office and laboratory equipment, extreme cold, and personal protective equipment.
- Requires frequent hand and foot movements, precise finger coordination, and light lifting.
- Must have good hearing acuity and visual capabilities.
- Must be able to comprehend and follow instructions.
