About the role

This role involves ensuring compliance with regulations, maintaining customer service, performing eligibility assessments, operating equipment, collecting and processing plasma, and maintaining cleanliness.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and industry regulations.
  • Ensure high levels of customer service, donor confidentiality, and positive donor experience.
  • Monitor donor conditions, perform eligibility assessments, and manage equipment operations.
  • Perform plasma collection and processing, including sterile procedures and documentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and quality control of the donor center and equipment.
  • Provide oversight of product safety and quality, and troubleshoot machine issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Three (3) months’ experience in clerical or customer service position preferred.
  • Specific certifications or licenses based on state requirements.
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English; bilingual in Spanish preferred (location specific).
  • Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions, perform basic math, and understand verbal instructions.
  • Physical requirements: ability to sit or stand for extended periods, lift up to 35 pounds, bend, stoop, kneel, work in cold environments, and use assistive devices.
  • Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and focus on tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to navigate the office environment safely, including stairs and elevators.
  • Travel up to 20% via airplane and vehicle (if applicable).

Qualifications

Basic computer knowledge and skills.

Pay

The expected base pay for this position at hiring is $16.27-$21.70.
