Donations Sorters/Pricers
About the role
Our Donations Sorters/Pricers are the “face of Goodwill” to the donors who make our work possible. They greet donors, unload donated goods, provide friendly and informed customer service, assist with receipts, maintain a safe and neat work environment, and may cross-train in areas such as cash register and hanging/cleaning/textile inspection.
Responsibilities
- Greeting donors and unloading donated goods
- Providing friendly and informed customer service to donors, assisting with receipts
- Maintaining a safe and neat work environment- taking pride in the efficiency of their area
- Position may include cross-training in the following areas: Cash Register, Hanging/Inspecting/Tagging textile & clothing in a production style setting
- Occasionally lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, and frequently lifting and carrying 10 to 35 pounds
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Production or similar experience preferred
Qualifications
Associates should be available to work most store hours, especially on evenings and weekends. Stores are open Monday through Saturday 10am to 8pm, opening at 11am on Sunday.
Skills
Team-oriented, friendly, and willing to help donors. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds.
