About the role
Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a Donation Door Attendant to greet donors, receive and record donations, and assist with store operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet donors warmly and receive, record, and sort donations in accordance with Kaizen guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service while representing Goodwill as a front-line team member.
- Aid in processing, cleaning, and preparing merchandise to support efficient store operations.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe donation and work areas, completing additional tasks assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience in retail and/or stock handling is preferred.
- Ability to stoop, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, and move items; independently lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds and team lift up to 100 pounds.
- Comfortable with standing for long periods of time and the possibility of occasionally working where temperatures and climate can fluctuate.
- Knowledge of basic math skills.
