Donation Door Attendant

Entry-level role in a fast-paced donation center.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist donors with top-notch service.
• Help unload donation vehicles.
• Sort all donations into proper containers by category.
• Maintain cleanliness of donation areas, both inside and outside.
• Strive to meet daily operational goals.
• Follow established Best Practices of ESGW.
• Assist in all aspects of operations as directed.

Requirements

• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and carry items for an entire shift (excluding break times).
• Use of hands for simple grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.
• Move items weighing 20-100 pounds by lifting, team lifting, or with mechanical assistance.
• Tolerance to extreme changes in temperature and humidity.
• Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community.
• Physically and mentally capable of performing all job requirements.
• Willingness to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Completion of a background check required.
