Donation Door Attendant
Entry-level position in a fast-paced donation center.
About the role
The Donation Door Attendant greets and assists donors, provides top-notch service, and helps unload vehicles. You will sort donations into proper containers by category, keep donation areas clean inside and out, and meet daily goals while following ESGW’s Best Practices. Must be a self-starter and assist in all aspects of operations as directed.
Responsibilities

- Sort all donations into proper containers by category
- Clean donation areas, both inside and outside
- Strive to meet daily operational goals
- Perform duties according to established Best Practices
- Assist in all aspects of operations as directed
Requirements
- Stand, stoop, bend, and carry for entire shift (excluding break times)
- Use hands for simple grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation
- Move 20–100 pounds by lifting, team lifting, or with mechanical assistance
- Tolerate extreme changes in temperature and humidity
- Move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community
- Physically and mentally able to perform all job requirements
- Work schedule may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Completion of a background check is required
