About The Role
The Salvation Army (TSA) Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) offers a no-fee program to assist men and women in their rehabilitation journey. The organization values its employees' contributions and relies on their dedication and devotion.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and clean the area in and around the Donation trailer/pod at the beginning and end of each shift
- Aid donors in receiving donated items and provide receipts
- Manage and sort donated materials into appropriate containers
- Inform supervisors of needed supplies before running out
- Secure and lock the Donation trailer/pod at the end of each shift
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass a background check, including criminal history and sex offender registry
- Ability to read, write, and understand instructions
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Physical Demands
- Sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist
- Grasp, push, pull objects like files, drawers, carts, and merchandise carts
- Move products up to 75 lbs
- Perform repetitive motion tasks
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Schedule
The Salvation Army operates 7 days a week. Work schedules are determined by management and associates must be flexible to cover shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The organization will comply with all governmental orders and contractual obligations related to COVID-19 safety measures, including mandatory vaccination of staff, if required. Exemptions from these requirements may be considered on religious or medical grounds.
