Responsibilities
- Makes decisions about the quality of donations and accepts or declines donations, communicating with customers as needed.
- Greets the public professionally and cheerfully, providing detailed written receipts.
- Keeps work and public areas neat, clean, and orderly.
- Maintains Goodwill Industries of Central OK (GICO) equipment and property in good working condition, adhering to quality control standards.
- Opens, closes, and secures the Donation Attendant Center (ADC) at the end of each shift.
- Prepares and submits daily activity reports and tallies and inventories as assigned.
- Reviews and understands Goodwill Industries of Central OK safety policies, programs, and procedures.
- Adheres to all safety rules, regulations, and codes, attends safety training sessions, and participates in necessary safety meetings.
- Absorbs punctuality and reliability, attends required training, and complies with management policies.
- Performs other duties as required.

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to maneuver 200 pounds, pull utility carts on wheels on and off trucks.
- Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, and reach for long periods of time (up to 8 hours a day).
- Must have good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talk, hear, and have visual acuity.
Working Conditions
- Work schedule may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Work in a climate-controlled atmosphere most of the time.
- Work in variable climates outside, including severe weather conditions.
Minimum Qualifications for Consideration
- A GED or equivalent is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in customer service or interaction is preferred.
