About The Role

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) offers a no-fee program to assist men and women in their rehabilitation journey. The organization values its employees and relies on their dedication and diligence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean the area in and around the Donation trailer/pod at the beginning and end of each shift
• Aid donors in receiving donated items and provide receipts
• Manage and sort donated materials into appropriate containers as directed
• Inform supervisors of needed supplies before they run out
• Secure and lock the Donation trailer/pod at the end of each shift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Pass background check, including criminal history and sex offender registry
• Ability to read, write, and understand both written and verbal instructions
• Effective communication skills, including ability to interact with management, colleagues, customers, and donors

Physical Demands

• Sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist intermittently or continuously
• Grasp, push, pull objects such as files, drawers, carts, merchandise carts, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks, and carts
• Move products up to 75 lbs
• Perform various repetitive motion tasks
• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation

Schedule

Stores operate 7 days a week. Schedules are determined by management and associates must be flexible to ensure adequate coverage. Full-time associates may work any full-time shift including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
