ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversees all donated goods operations with minimal supervision
- Manages personnel and Attended Donation Center (ADC) sites
- Captures and analyzes operational data and prepares reports
- Develops and implements plans to meet goals and objectives
- Directs and coordinates Transportation Department activities
- Supervises staff directly or through subordinate employees
- Performs additional duties as assigned
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Minimum two years of college plus related supervisory experience in operations management and customer service, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated ability to supervise a large staff in customer service, processing, transportation, and/or facility maintenance operations (preferred)
SKILLS
- Demonstrated ability to explain organizational mission and donation policies to the public
- Skilled in resolving customer complaints effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Internet, and email software
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, and communicate (talk/hear)
- Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Occasionally required to climb or balance
- Must regularly lift/move up to 25 lbs and frequently up to 50 lbs
- Requires close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Occasionally exposed to wet/humid conditions and moving mechanical parts
- Frequently exposed to high or precarious places, fumes, airborne particles, and outdoor weather conditions
- Occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock
- Work environment typically has a loud noise level
