About the role
RegalCare at Courtyard is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead their nursing department and ensure high-quality resident care.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all nursing operations and clinical services
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and regulatory requirements
- Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs)
- Collaborate with administrators, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain staffing levels, schedules, and performance standards
- Promote a culture of quality, safety, and accountability
Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing
- Previous experience as a Director of Nursing or nursing leadership role
- Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and best practices
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage teams, priorities, and fast-paced situations
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience strongly preferred
