Dog Walker/Pet Sitter

About the role

Pup Culture is hiring dog walkers/pet sitters in our service area. We’re looking for reliable and responsible animal-lovers to join our team. This is a part-time position.

Responsibilities

• Begin with a couple walks per day with room to grow based on performance and experience.
• Work independently and be resourceful.
• Communicate clearly with clients and staff through notes.
• Show strong animal intuition and confidence around animals.
• Enjoy working with energetic dogs in all weather conditions.

Requirements

• Availability between 9:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday and one weekend a quarter.
• Able to make a long-term commitment.
• Must have a smart phone and computer with internet access.
• Must have access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
• Live in or near our service area.
• Able to walk multiple miles a day and work with energetic dogs.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong animal intuition and confidence.
• Animal lover with patience.
