Dog Trainer

Off Leash K9 Training Wichita is looking for a professional dog trainer to join our team. This role offers flexibility, the ability to work from home, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of dogs and their owners. Dog training is both a career and a lifestyle, requiring discipline, self-motivation, and a genuine passion for helping others.

What We’re Looking For

• A genuine passion for dogs and helping people
• Strong work ethic, discipline, reliability, and honesty
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments
• Willingness to work with behaviors ranging from basic obedience to anxiety, reactivity, and aggression
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule
• Willingness to continually learn and improve
• Comfortable creating dog training photos/videos and using social media

Requirements

• Must live in or around Wichita, KS
• Must be able to safely board at least 2 dogs in your home for up to 14 days at a time
• Reliable transportation — SUV required to fit a kennel to transport dogs
• Smartphone required
• Availability during weekdays, evenings, and weekends as needed
• Must complete our 21-day professional trainer certification program

Responsibilities

• Training dogs and working with owners
• Taking dogs on training outings
• Communicating with clients
• Creating training content (photos/videos)
• Attending occasional events
• Continuing to develop your skills as both a dog trainer and a people trainer

Pay

The right person can earn approximately $40,000–$60,000+ per year.
