Dog Handler Part-Time only

Main Responsibilities

• Supervision
• Upholding our mission, vision, and core values
• Completing opening and closing checklists
• Maintaining a positive and motivated attitude throughout the shift
• Regularly communicating with Manager or Shift Lead on issues that arise
• Communicating health concerns with Pet Retreat Manager or Shift Lead
• Aiding in the completion of baths, nail trims, and other add-on services
• Awareness of dog behavior and body language, intervening if necessary
• Overseeing dogs during playtime, ensuring positive interactions and appropriate play behavior
• Engaging with dogs in a friendly and playful manner, providing mental and physical stimulation
• Creating report cards detailing each pet's day
• Affording assistance with feeding dogs according to their dietary requirements
• Assisting with dog assessments
• Walking dogs outside for bathroom breaks
• Providing the highest level of customer service to our clients and giving details of their pet's day at pick up
• Ensuring health and safety by keeping play areas, sleeping areas, and common spaces clean and sanitary
