About the role

The Dodge Family Endowed Chair in Technology and Society is a newly created position at the University of Oklahoma, Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences. It is expected to begin in August 2024.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research that addresses societal challenges, inequities, and opportunities presented by technology advancements.
• Teach one course per semester within the Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences.
• Align with the strategic plans of the Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences and the Office of the Vice President for Research and Partnerships.

Requirements

• PhD in an Applied Social Science or Humanities field.
• Research focus on societal impacts of technology advancements.
• Experience in teaching and mentoring students.
• Strong publication record in relevant fields.
