About the role
The Dodge Family Endowed Chair in Technology and Society is a newly created position at the University of Oklahoma, Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences. It is expected to begin in August 2024.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research that addresses societal challenges, inequities, and opportunities presented by technology advancements.
- Teach one course per semester within the Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences.
- Align with the strategic plans of the Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences and the Office of the Vice President for Research and Partnerships.
Requirements
- PhD in an Applied Social Science or Humanities field.
- Research focus on societal impacts of technology advancements.
- Experience in teaching and mentoring students.
- Strong publication record in relevant fields.
