Overview

The Human Resources Generalist internship at Bioventus is designed to prepare active-duty service members for civilian careers in Human Resources and Workforce Administration. This program provides hands-on practice to help participants learn foundational HR principles and translate their military experience into practical HR competencies.

Responsibilities

• Learn and practice foundational HR principles
• Translate military experience into practical HR competencies
• Gain exposure to professional standards in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and organizational culture
• Support employees in all areas of the employment life cycle
• Respond to employee inquiries
• Help managers with compliance documentation
• Support workplace communication and engagement initiatives
• Navigate HR software systems
• Work with hiring managers
• Ensure policies and processes are followed consistently
• Understand how HR contributes to team performance, company culture, and organizational success

Requirements

• Active-duty service member eligible for SkillBridge within the last 180 days of service
• Command approval

Qualifications

• Degree preferred
