Document Specialist (Remote)
Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Word and PDF Experts to work on a contract basis. This role requires meticulous attention to document formatting, accuracy in content extraction, and proficiency in handling multiple file types. Candidates must ensure compliance with specified formatting guidelines and deliver error-free documents within tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert, edit, and format Word documents and PDFs according to client specifications
- Extract and organize text, tables, and images from PDFs with high accuracy
- Proofread and correct formatting issues in documents before submission
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adherence to data handling protocols
- Met daily output targets while maintaining quality standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, including advanced formatting and track changes
- Strong command of Adobe Acrobat or equivalent PDF editing tools
- Ability to interpret and apply detailed formatting guidelines consistently
- Excellent attention to detail and error detection in text and layout
- Experience with OCR tools for scanned PDFs is preferred
