Document Control Specialist

Murray Osorio PLLC is a fast-growing immigration law firm with offices in Virginia, Maryland, and New Jersey. We are dedicated to making a positive impact on people's lives. We represent clients and companies in courts, offices, and consular posts worldwide. We specialize in removal defense, humanitarian applications, family-based immigration, criminal immigration, employment-based immigration, naturalization, and appellate and federal litigation.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage incoming emails and physical mail, ensuring all correspondence is reviewed promptly and uploaded accurately into the case management system in a timely manner
- Identify and prioritize urgent items to meet case deadlines and attorney needs
- Assist with PACER and DocketBird access and functionality, including password maintenance, monitoring MFA requirements and access issues
- Call Clients to coordinate pick-up/mail out for priority documents
- Maintain organized email inboxes using subfolders
- Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills, ensuring consistent workflow and adherence to deadlines
- Provide support with front desk operations on an as-needed basis
- Provide support with ECAS/FOIA inbox
- Back up colleagues when needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Fluency in Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
Qualifications
- Basic qualifications: High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred qualifications: Associate or Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft 365, PACER, and DocketBird

Pay
This is a full-time, on-site role for the first 90 days, with the potential to transition to a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) after successful completion.
