Doctor's Technician

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to all patients while fostering a strong partnership to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
• Communicate effectively with the supervising PEG physician for all direction and guidance with regards to patient care within their store.
• Enhance the patient's clinical experience by seeking opportunities to do so.
• Ensure proper clinical care by satisfying all Physician Eyecare Group criteria.
• Support clinical care by the local PEG doctor who supervises, meeting the required standards.
• Learn and utilize local modes to enhance the overall patient experience, as needed under supervision.
• Insert and remove contact lenses for new and existing wearers, communicate/order clinical/contact lens supplies, and ensure accurate patient history and personal information in the system.
• Achieve daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly PEG desired goals, focusing on clinical performance metrics like promptness, referrals, and conversions.
• Operational duties include greeting patients, answering inquiries, scheduling appointments, resolving complaints, maintaining brand standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Perform simple customer repairs, assemble lenses, and deliver glasses accurately and on time.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA requirements.
• Execute tasks in the lab area to meet brand standards and report equipment malfunctions or issues to management.

Key Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• The ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills with a diverse group of people.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A consistent promotion of high work standards and an entrepreneurial mentality within the company.
• Schedule flexibility to accommodate business needs.
• Knowledgeable about Microsoft Suite 365.
• Optical experience is a plus.
